Deck list.

Whenever another Bear you control enters: two +1/+1 counters on target Bear, OR your Bear fights their creature. Continuous effects apply the moment a permanent is on the battlefield (CR 603.6b), so with Kudo out every creature and token you make enters as a Bear and triggers this. Repeatable removal.

Other Bears +2/+2. Each of your combats: trample counter on a creature and it becomes a Bear permanently, then draw 2 if you control 3+ Bears. Best non-commander card in the deck.

Team gets +1/+0 and vigilance at 3+ creatures; +2/+0 and trample at 6+; +3/+0 and double strike at 9+. With Duskana, a base-2/2 attacker at 9+ creatures is an 8/5 double-striking trampler.

All OTHER creatures (both sides) have base P/T 2/2 (layer 7b, CR 613.4b) and are Bears in addition to their other types (layer 4, CR 613.1d). Turns on Duskana for your whole board, makes every creature trigger Ayula, lets Beorn and Shared Animosity hit everything, and shrinks opponents' fatties to 2/2. Tutor target #1. Note: crewed vehicles become 2/2 too (Kudo ruling).

The first creature spell you cast EACH turn (opponents' turns too) costs less and can be cast as though it had flash. Only generic mana comes off, so Kudo gets flash but no discount. Commander tax is added before the reduction (CR 903.8, 601.2f): Duskana's first cast is and every recast is cheaper. Flash plays: Duskana at the end of the last opponent's turn (draw, untap, swing); Craterhoof after blockers if it's your first creature that turn. On the turn you cast Radagast, nothing else gets the discount (ruling). Not a Bear card, so Horn, Realmwalker, Kindred Summons and the Bear lands ignore it; Kudo makes it a Bear on the battlefield.

ETB: 4/4 Bear token. Whenever creatures with power 4+ attack, fetch that many basics tapped. The count locks in when the ability triggers (Earth King ruling), before Duskana's +3/+3 resolves; Beorn's +2/+2 makes 2/2 Bears 4/4 in time. The Earth King himself is Human (matters for Return of the Wildspeaker).

Can't be countered, indestructible, attacks each combat if able. Draw a card each time a creature you control hits a player. Redundant with Frostfang. With Kudo and Duskana both out it attacks as a 5/5 indestructible.

Can't be countered. 2/2 Bear with reach, vigilance, trample, ward 2. Best Bear Umbra carrier: vigilance means it attacks, untaps your lands and still blocks.

Turn-1 any-color dork. Fixes all three colors.

: add for each creature you control. Second Gaea's Cradle on a body.

Turn-1 dork.

6/5 trample Bear. Hideaway 3 twice: two cards exiled face down. When it deals combat damage to a player, play one of them free.

Flash flying changeling 2/2. ETB returns another creature you control to hand: dodge removal, or bounce Duskana and recast her from hand (no tax) for another big draw.

Changeling 2/2 plus a 2/2 changeling token. Two Bears, two Ayula triggers, two Duskana attackers.

Turn-1 dork.

2/2 Bear. Later: , exile it from your graveyard to make two 2/2 Bears (sorcery speed).

Attacking creatures you control have deathtouch. Draw a card for each creature that deals combat damage to a player. Deathtouch + trample (Beorn counters, Jetmir, Hoof) = assign 1 to each blocker, rest to the player.

Base 2/2 Bear with vigilance, trample, X +1/+1 counters. ETB destroys any number of artifacts/enchantments with total MV X or less. Scales into a big flexible answer.

Changeling (every creature type everywhere, CR 702.73a). Name Bear: look at the top card any time and cast Bear creature spells off the top. Changelings and real Bears both qualify.

Name Bear. Triggered abilities of your OTHER Bears trigger an additional time (CR 603.2d): Duskana's attack trigger gives +6/+6, her ETB draws double, Ayula fights twice, Beorn draws 4, Mauler gets 2 counters. Ward 2 and becomes a Bear itself.

Flash + convoke: tap creatures to help pay; green ones can pay . Name Bear: your other Bear permanents gain hexproof and indestructible until end of turn. With Kudo out that protects every other creature you control, but not Safewright itself. Without Kudo it covers Bears, changelings and Bear tokens, not the elf dorks. Indestructible stops destruction, not exile or -X/-X.

1-mana 1/1 Bear that enters prepared: later cast a copy of Rampant Growth for . Ramp and a Bear in one card.

Changeling 2/2 that may take a +1/+1 counter every time an opponent casts a spell. Base stays 2/2, so Duskana still adds +3/+3. Gets huge in a 4-player game.

4/4 deathtouch Bear. Enters prepared: later cast a copy of Bind to Life ( instant: mill 7, put a creature from among them onto the battlefield). Casting the copy unprepares it.

Bear mana dork. Becomes a 4/4 with threshold (7+ cards in graveyard).

Hexproof + haste, equip (only as a sorcery). Equipping can move the Boots to another creature you control; it does not let you simply detach them. Hexproof only stops opponents, so your own Ayula, Ephemerate and Bear Umbra can still target the creature.

Any color in Naya.

ETB: two 2/2 Cats (base 2/2, Duskana pumps them). When it attacks, copy a token you control. Crew 4. Crewed, it's a creature, so Kudo makes it base 2/2 too.

Name Bear: Bear creature spells (real Bears and changelings) cost less; each upkeep take the top card if it's a Bear creature card.

Name Bear: your Bears get +1/+1. Taps for any color.

Two colorless mana.

If you control a commander as you cast it (Duskana on the battlefield), choose BOTH: flying, vigilance and double strike; plus lifelink, indestructible and protection from each color, until end of turn. Swing for a big finish or protect against destruction. Indestructible does not stop exile or -X/-X wipes.

Destroy any permanent; they get a 3/3.

Your permanents gain indestructible until end of turn, OR deal 4 damage to a player or planeswalker, OR give one creature double strike until end of turn. Indestructible protects against destruction, not exile or -X/-X.

Shuffles a permanent into its owner's library, even if it has indestructible. That player reveals the top card and puts it onto the battlefield if it is a permanent card.

Convoke instant-speed creature tutor to the battlefield. Tap Bears to pay.

instant: find any creature card and put it into your hand. Fourth way to find Kudo early (with Worldly Tutor, Green Sun's Zenith and Chord), and it grabs non-green creatures Zenith cannot (Roaming Throne, Taurean Mauler, Flock Impostor, Irregular Cohort). In response to a destruction wipe, find Selfless Safewright and convoke it in, naming Bear. With Radagast, you can tutor at an opponent's end step, then flash in the creature for less if it is your first creature spell that turn.

Blink a creature you control. Use it on a nontoken creature: a token can be targeted but will not return. Counters are lost and attached Auras go to the graveyard. Best on Duskana: draw again now; if cast from hand, rebound lets you blink her again at your next upkeep. Also saves one creature from targeted removal.

Free while you control a commander, i.e. Duskana on the battlefield under your control (CR 903.3d); not free from the command zone. Creatures gain indestructible.

Destroy any permanent; they get a 3/3.

Destroy a creature, enchantment, or planeswalker; they get two Maps.

Your permanents gain hexproof and indestructible until end of turn. 2 mana.

Name Bear: put X Bear creature cards from your library onto the battlefield, X = Bears you control. Cast at end of the last opponent's turn, untap, swing.

1-mana exile.

Draw cards equal to the greatest power among your non-Human creatures, or give your non-Humans +3/+3 until end of turn. Changelings are every type, Human included, so Realmwalker, Mauler, Cohort (and its token) and Flock Impostor are left out, along with Werebear, The Earth King and Forth Eorlingas Knights. Bear tokens and non-Human Bears count.

1-mana exile.

Plains or Mountain card (tapped): grabs Sacred Foundry, either other shock, or Jetmir's Garden for color fixing.

X 2/2 Knights with haste and trample. Base 2/2, so they attack as 5/5s the turn they arrive. You become the monarch if any of your creatures connect that turn.

Green creature straight onto the battlefield. X=2 is Kudo on turn 3. Shuffles itself back in.

Two 2/2 Bears, four with threshold. Flashback for more.

Any Forest CARD onto the battlefield: a basic Forest, Stomping Ground or Temple Garden (pay 2 life to have the shock untapped), or Jetmir's Garden (always enters tapped).

Same as Nature's Lore: any Forest card, shocks and Jetmir's Garden included.

Choose two: two 2/2 Bears / two lands from library onto the battlefield tapped / two +1/+1 counters on each creature you control / exile a graveyard and gain life.

Discard a land card: create a 2/2 Bear. Costs no mana. Every extra land late becomes a Bear.

+2/+2, and when the creature attacks, untap all your lands: full mana again for the second main phase. Umbra armor: if the creature would be destroyed, the Aura dies instead.

Exiles a nonland permanent an OPPONENT controls until Tribunal leaves. Convoke: each tapped creature pays or one mana of its color; the needs a white creature (Kudo, Duskana, Jetmir, Irregular Cohort, Flock Impostor) or white mana.

Landfall: 2/2 Bear. Whenever you cast a creature spell, put X +1/+1 counters on a creature you control, X = that spell's mana value.

Creatures you control have haste: Duskana and every new Bear or token attacks the turn it arrives. Sacrifice it: a creature gets +2/+2 (dodge damage-based removal or push lethal).

Draw when a nontoken creature enters if its name matches neither another creature you control nor a creature card in your graveyard. In this singleton deck, nearly every creature draws. The enchantment stays through creature-only wipes.

Name Bear: Bears get +1/+0. Your end step: copy each Bear token you still control that entered this turn.

Untapped with a legendary green creature out (Duskana, Kudo, Ayula, Wilson, Beorn, Toski...). ,: 2/2 Bear, then mill 3. Sorcery speed only.

Red or white mana. Enters untapped if you control a Mountain or a Plains, including a shock land or Jetmir's Garden with that type.

Taps for red, green or white: any color in Duskana's color identity.

Taps for any color that a land an opponent controls could produce. Helps fix your colors around a multiplayer table.

RG filter.

Basic green mana for your Bears and ramp spells. The Earth King and Rampant Growth can find it.

Tapped tri-land.

Basic red mana for Duskana and the finishers. The Earth King and Rampant Growth can find it.

Enters tapped. Any Naya color. Scry 1 when its mana casts a creature spell that shares a type with Duskana (any Bear).

Basic white mana for Kudo, Duskana and protection. The Earth King and Rampant Growth can find it.

Red or green mana. Enters untapped if you control a Mountain or a Forest, including a shock land or Jetmir's Garden with that type.

RW filter.

Red or white mana. A Mountain and a Plains, so the fetch lands can find it. Pay 2 life as it enters to have it untapped; otherwise it enters tapped.

Name Bear: any color for Bear creature spells or abilities of Bear creatures.

Red or green mana. A Mountain and a Forest, so the fetch lands and Forest-search spells can find it. Pay 2 life as it enters to have it untapped; otherwise it enters tapped.

Green or white mana. Enters untapped if you control a Forest or a Plains, including a shock land or Jetmir's Garden with that type.

Name Bear. ,: one color of mana per Bear you control. With Kudo out, per creature.

Name Bear: any color for Bear creature spells (Duskana from the command zone and changelings included).

Fetches Temple Garden, Jetmir's Garden, Stomping Ground or Sacred Foundry.

Fetches Stomping Ground, Jetmir's Garden, Temple Garden or Sacred Foundry.
